2 Jun (Sat): FREE Nature Connection: Sketching and Watercolour Painting of Birds with NParks

Join us in a series of free art workshops and talks by talented local artists and friends of Pulau Ubin! An avid nature photographer and painter, Mr Thong Chow Ngian hopes to create awareness and showcase the vast variety of beautiful birds found in urbanised Singapore. He will guide participants to sketch and paint a bird in watercolor, using a photo as a reference. Suitable for participants aged 18 and above.

2 Jun (Sat): Punggol to Ubin Kayaking by Kayakasia

This is a special trail that links together Punggol, Pulau Serangoon (Coney Island), and Pulau Ubin!
Experience a different side of Ubin!
Could be called the trail of mystery as we attempt to locate a crumbling villa, the German Girl Shrine, and one of the best look-out point on Pulau Ubin. This trail might also take you into the equally unknown Sungai Teris.

9 Jun - 9 Jul: “The Island in Focus” photography exhibition by Photographic Society of Singapore

Pulau Ubin had their very first collaboration with The Photographic Society of Singapore (PSS) for an intense and jam packed 2-Day Photography Programme. It was held over the weekend on 21 to 22 October 2017 with a total number of 28 PSS members participating in the programme.
